"GALLERY TALK"
REVEALS ROCK ‘N’ ROLL – BEHIND THE CURTAINS
WHO: The Petersen Automotive Museum, as part of its on-going "Cars and
Guitars of Rock ‘N’ Roll" exhibit, will showcase two authorities on the

Roll’s Last Stand in Hollywood and the writer of Look! Listen! Vibrate! SMILE!
, an in-depth study of Beach Boy Brian Wilson’s unreleased "SMILE" album from
1967. Also featured will be Dr. Don Altfeld, a songwriter who penned many hit
rock singles, including what is probably the best-known "car" song of the
Rock ‘N’ Roll era – "Little Old Lady From Pasadena," made famous by Jan &
Dean.
